RtoL: Ian Williams and Shaun Harris (Noosa Council), Natash Abbott (CRJO), Linda Villy and Skye Frost (MNCJO), Chris Dart (Hunter JO) and Jason Huntley (CRJO).

At a recent workshop, hosted by the Hunter Joint Organisation, members of Joint Organisations and Councils worked together to learn more about Simtables. Early adopters of the Simtable technology, including MNCJO, shared their experience and knowledge to quickly kick-start the newcomers’ projects.

Working together we found ways to strengthen the tools, and find new methods and techniques for the Simtable that will enhance community preparedness and create more resilient and proactive communities.

The MNCJO has delivered workshops and demonstrations in communities to empower them to prepare for and respond to natural disasters. The workshops have had amazing attendance levels and nearly 1500 attendees gained deep understanding of their risks, developed tailored and detailed response plans, as well as strengthened community connections.
