Towards Net Zero

Mid North Coast Joint Organisation (JO) has been successful in its bid for capacity building funding under the NSW government’s Joint Organisation Net Zero Acceleration (JONZA) Grant. Mid North Coast Joint Organisation JO will receive $155,000 to employ a staff member who is dedicated to progressing the JO and member councils towards net zero.

Community Land Trust

In response to a pressing need for innovative solutions to the mounting need for affordable housing, the MNCJO initiated the project to develop a Proof of Concept (PoC) for a Community Land Trust, or CLT, for the Mid-North Coast

Simtable for Community Empowerment Project

The Simtables for Community Empowerment project is a Mid North Coast Joint Organisation (MNCJO) project. It will provide a state-of-the-art tool to engage communities in localised disaster risk reduction workshops in partnership with our local Council officers.

The Koala Recovery Partnership

The Koala Recovery Partnership seeks to improve koala conservation across the Hastings-Macleay Region by engaging with landholders, the community, research groups and government sectors to achieve better on-ground koala conservation outcomes and on-going viability (or sustainability) for this iconic and important Australian species.

The Mid North Coast Joint Organisation respectfully acknowledges the traditional owners, the Birpai, Dunghutti and Gumbaynggirr people, as the custodians of this land. We pay respect to all Aboriginal community Elders, past and present, who have resided in the area and have been an integral part of the history of the region.
