Power Purchase Agreement

Noam has been working closely with Hunter JO to facilitate the formation of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Buyer’s Group which includes 13 regional councils from across NSW. 

PPAs allow energy consumers to purchase renewable energy directly from the generator, providing price certainty and significant emissions reductions.

Bellingen Shire Council and Port Macquarie Hastings Council are in the buyer’s group which is a great news story for the region.

As Kempsey Shire Council already has a PPA, it means all our savvy member councils will be purchasing clean energy at a stable and predicable price.
